Google has introduced a new feature for Chrome/YouTube that allows users to easily copy a single frame of a paused video. This feature makes it easier for writers to collect suitable header images for their articles. Users can simply pause the video, right-click the interface, and click “Copy video frame” to copy the image into their operating system’s copy-paste function. This feature should work with any embedded video where the right-click menu hasn’t been suppressed. Although it currently only appears to be available on YouTube, it may expand to other platforms in the future. This feature is accessible to all users and does not require a Premium subscription.
